Nallikari, the heart of seaside Oulu, offers both natural and cultural landscapes. It is accessible during all seasons and effortlessly explorable on a fatbike.

You can easily reach the starting point directly from the center of Oulu by taking bus number 15. Nallikari is also within a reasonable walking distance, and the area offers free car parking areas.

The season for this public fatbike safari is from April 9th to December 17th, when the ice and snow have usually started to melt a bit. Outside these times, you can book the service Frozen Sea Fatbike Experience in Nallikari.

Nallikari Safaris Experience Center

Our adventure begins at the Nallikari Experience Center, which is located right in front of the Nallikari seaside, in the basement of the Nallikari Aalto hotel building, at Nallikarinranta 10. Our guides will teach you the basics of fatbiking and go through safety matters.

As you climb onto our reliable fatbike, you'll feel an exhilarating sense of freedom. Its oversized tires are ideally suited for a variety of terrains. Our fatbikes represent high quality and are always well-maintained.

We also explore urban and cultural landscapes, as we occasionally deviate from off-road trails to cycling paths. Through the coastal and forested paths of Nallikari, possibly detouring into the cultural landscapes of Pikisaari, you can witness the area's rich cultural diversity in addition to its park-like scenery. Our guide will share stories and insights about the region.
