Discover the magic of Christmas in the Finnish countryside. Visit a local Christmas tree farm, decorate your own tree, and enjoy a cozy campfire lunch in a warm wooden hut.

Season: December 1st – March 31st

This is a private experience exclusively for your group – no other participants will join. The experience is available for groups of at least 4 people. You can book it directly through our website at least 14 days in advance. Join us for a heartwarming Christmas experience just a short drive from Oulu. Our journey begins directly from Nallikari or your accommodation in the Oulu city area, from where we’ll take you to a traditional family-run Christmas tree farm.

During the visit, you’ll learn how Christmas trees are grown and cared for throughout the seasons. You’ll also get to decorate your own tree – and, if visiting before Christmas Eve, you can even choose and cut down a tree.

After exploring the farm, we’ll gather in a heated wooden hut (kota) for a delicious lunch prepared over an open fire. Enjoy hot drinks, traditional Finnish campfire coffee or tea, and soak in the cozy Christmas atmosphere while hearing stories about Finnish holiday traditions.

This tour is designed especially for families and anyone who loves the spirit of Christmas. It’s a perfect way to slow down, connect with nature, and experience authentic Finnish holiday traditions together.

  • Prices:

    • Adults (13+): 139 € / person

    • Children (4–12): 119 € / person

    • Infants (0–3): Free of charge

      • On Christmas Eve (December 24th), Christmas Day (December 25th), New Year’s Eve (December 31st), New Year’s Day (January 1st), and other public holidays, prices may be higher.

  • Price includes: Thermal clothing (overalls, gloves, beanie, and boots), professional guidance throughout the experience, transportation from Nallikari or your accommodation in the Oulu city area to the Christmas Tree Farm and back, entrance fee to the Christmas Tree Farm, Christmas Tree decoration activity, tree cutting (available before Christmas Eve), delicious lunch prepared over an open fire in a heated wooden hut (kota)

  • Starting point: We will pick you up as agreed from your accommodation in the vicinity of Oulu city centre or the Nallikari area.

  • Duration: 3 hours (including transport)

  • Level: Easy, under 18 years old only accompanied by parents.

The customer may cancel the service free of charge up to 14 days before the scheduled start, in which case a full refund will be issued (excluding Paytrail or bank transfer fees). For cancellations made less than 14 days before the start, 50% of the service price will be refunded. For cancellations made less than 7 days before the scheduled start, the full service price will be charged.
