On this trip the likelihood of getting to experience the strike of a fish and seeing it emerge from under the ice is very good.

Nallikari Experience Center
We will meet at the Nallikari Experience Center, after which we will change into our winter clothes. The center is located right in front of Nallikari beach, in the basement of the Nallikari Aalto hotel building.
From the Experience Center, we will begin a 5 – 15 minute walk on the frozen sea to the fishing spots, where our guide will set up a small heated pop-up tent if there is strong wind or frost. On location, everyone gets a chance to drill a hole in the ice by themselves, and our fishing guide will demonstrate how to attach the bait and how to lure the fish with it. The trip doesn’t require previous fishing experience.
We have one sonar fish finder at our disposal, which we use to assist in searching for fish, and from the finder, you can see how fish react to the lure in winter.
The Oulu sea area, located in the Gulf of Bothnia, is absolutely beautiful especially in winter offering spectacular views on both the city and the open sea. It is also a great ice fishing location and has some good spots for catching perch, roach or even whitefish.

Cancellations due to weather: The tour will be canceled due to a storm or bad ice conditions, in which case we will refund the payment to the customer.
